April 14, 2014 - Great to try a 26yr old btl of one of my favorite Pinot producers. The 1st sniff was all mud, leaves and wet forest floor. With some time there was faint strawberries, more leaves, mild spices and earth. The palate still had some fruit on a very mature framework. Still signs of life in this.

April 13, 2014 - Fun to try. Lots of autumn leaves, dark fruit, earth, blood orange, and fungi. A little tomato leaf note came on during the medium finish. Wish I had more than a glassful and some time to spend with this.
