May 14, 2024 - This is stunning and quite unlike the lighter, tart 2020 version. Deep, dark colour retaining a violet hue with an explosive, burly, brambly nose. Similar on the palate where the 14.5% alcohol is very present and carries the ripe yet sour cherry flavours through. Carafe if you have time for an hour or so. Perhaps in need of a couple more years for the raw elements to calm down but not sure they will get a chance in my cellar…

April 27, 2024 - Notes of dark cherry, licorice, and a beautiful ocean salinity note. Body is medium-plus. Tannins have a medium-coarse grit. It took about two hours to open. Very pleasant.
