January 31, 2024 - My first Martinelli Zinfandel. PnP. Color is medium ruby. On the nose: Blackberry and Mixed red berries, sour cherry and some baking spices . On the palate: Christmas spices, red and black berries and vanilla. Some alcohol heat. Quite long on the finish. Nice mouthfeel , silky and sensuous. I wish the alcohol levels were lower but it is tasty.

January 22, 2024 - The drink window says wait until 2026. I have had a lot of Martinelli Zins over the years. This one is right on top of the good ones right now. I would describe it as a classic Martinelli bottle.
