June 4, 2020 - Pale transluscent ruby, quite substantial bricking, amber-garnet color. This was really musty off the bat, thought it was corked at first but then some of t hat blew off; fun, musty cellar, soft, maybe advanced beyond what a '90 GC should be? Fun older GC. Leased by DRC since 2008. Yarom group outside at Locanda Veneta.

April 13, 2017 - Still alive and kicking...ripe strawberries and stewed cherries...light and crisp..lists of fruit and subtle tannins. A pleasure!

February 4, 2016 - Wow..still good..and can keep going..pronounced nose of rich smoked strawberry and damp leaves...on the palate rich strawberry, red raspberry and peppery spice...gorgeous wine.

February 11, 2012 - Nicely mature no rush to drink. A certain elegance - glides across the palate with a beautiful finish. No beef, no rusticity, pure tasty red fruit.

August 19, 2009 - Blind tasting two Red Burgundy with Mike, second place. Bright beet red in the glass, lovely old, cabernet, red cherry nose, more of the same in the palate, elegant richness and some complexity of leather and bacon, medium body and medium/long finish. Nice but not exciting.
