April 26, 2024 - Whoa. Most gran vinos cannot equal this in terms of enjoyment and overall quality. Extremely balanced and gushingly long, with microfiber tannins and layer upon layer of fruit. Ripe cherries, raspberry, garrigue, char siu pork, lavender, locker room, red spice, Mediterranean herbs and blackberry. Forcefully executed, yet angelic at the same time. The sort of paradox makes a wondrous vino. This evolves over time and shifts. The body is close to full, yet remains agile. I can only imagine how lovely the Cols Erasmus is. Decant or wait a couple of years. Cottony, crunchy tannins and freshness. Drink 2026 - 2038.

February 8, 2024 - More polished than the prior vintage. Still young and primary, easy to drink and hard to resist. Red and black fruits wound tightly into a light body for a Priorat. Still a mouthful. Balanced acidity gives it energy. Roadside herbs and spices are there but are yet to move to foreground. Tannins hidden. Just the slightest bit of mustiness on the nose though. Medium short finish.

January 11, 2024 - Lots of anise and big rich fruit to it. Delicious and wonderful and fun.
