April 8, 2010 - Nose: Spicy with some slate mineral and a hint of petrol. Palate: Sweet entry balanced by good acidity with apple and pear flavors and a nice clean finish. A Qba that drinks like a Qmp Kabinett no doubt due to a combination of good winemaking and the stellar 2005 vintage as a whole. Great QPR at $6.00 on sale.

March 23, 2010 - Medium yellow color. Sweet nose with fresh fruit and a hint of petrol. Nice flavor intensity on the palate. Maybe a touch over-sweet on the attack, but there is a really nice zing of acidity that almost fully compensates for the sweetness by mid-palate. Great long finish due to the lingering acidity. A screaming deal at $5.97 locally.
