April 22, 2024 - Another excellent vintage. It has lovely reduction with the perfect amount of oak seasoning. Fresh acidity and a concentrated, clean finish to boot. Blind, I’m not certain I’d guess Savagnin unless I had a chard for reference. To me, this is more about winemaking than the fruit, but it’s a culmination of stylistic choices that I love.
