September 1, 2012 - Normally I would sit on this one for a year or two and drink it up. This one has been in the cellar for almost four years, and it is really nice. The nose on it is beautiful. The mouthfeel is terrific, and the finish is decent. Drink them if you have them, it won't get any better than this.

Zinfandel Tasting - Blind, Episode #583, 11/24/2008 (link) 89+ points(Rosenblum Richard Sauret Zinfandel) #1; COLOR-really dark; NOSE-wild; very aromatic; massive levels of pomegranate; bug spray; minty eucalyptus aspect; some watermelon as well; TASTE-great tannins; nice use of oak; BIG wine; pucker city; I did not love the nose, but I like the mouthfeel; good dryness; complete backbone & structure; good dark tannins; nice black herbal tea; plums; blackberries; little spice and black pepper; some gaminess; good bright fruit on the end; good, but not great; best in show which isn't saying much (like having the best smelling fart in the room); CG-90; GV-89+
