  March 27, 2024 - Took the two grandsons with us to Red Lobster. Off the wine list. A stark reminder of how bad a super-market grade wine off an obligatory list wine can be! :) Abrasive, out of balance with metallic notes. $36 on the list. Drinks like sub $5.

  March 27, 2024 - Pale yellow straw in the glass. Typical NZ sauv blonc nose. Very acidic on the early palette but becomes more well-rounded in the finish. Notes of fresh green apple and bright pear.

  February 9, 2024 - For a NZ sauv blanc, it is quite delicate and not as punchy as others in the price range. Medium acid, grassy/green bitterness and fruity, with noticeable funky notes. Smooth drinking. Not bad on its own, but harder to pair with food.

  February 8, 2024 - Typical NZ SB nose, very high in acidity, a bit short on the finish and coming close to astringent but still good value for the money.
