Community Tasting Notes 1

March 3, 2024 - Dark red-purple, vivid acidity, juicy, deeply fruited with floral overtones and a slightly tannic finish. One can see why this grape may have been mistaken in an earlier era for gamay noir a jus blanc. It has light-to-medium body and enough acidity (and low enough alcohol) to pair well with food. Tasted blind, it could be mistaken for a good Cru Beaujolais.
