January 19, 2024 - Young and will benefit from more years in the bottle.
Concentrated blackberry, black pepper, dark chocolate, espresso, and minerality on the finish. Strong, thick tannins.

November 4, 2023 - Deep, dark, purple garnet in color; nearly opaque. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with lovely overtones of spice notes of pepper, earthy/dusty, floral notes of violets, cocoa, anise, tobacco, minerals & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, dense, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blackberries & plums with spices, bittersweet cocoa, herbs, minerals, spices & oak/vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well with decanting & extended airing but will develop further with additional aging.
