May 12, 2013 - Unfortunately suffered from the two wines opened previously, 07 Rivers Marie Old Vine Summa PN and a 01 Mascarello Monprivato Barolo. Nice, but not very complex. Still very youthful, dark purple.

May 27, 2012 - This wine is absolute a favorit. At this age i find it very well balanced. a year ago it was balanced, but now it is perfect. though it may be able to keep up for severel years from now, i dont think it will get any better. Herbs and blackberries, soft tannins and a bit of minerals gets my mood on top.

May 20, 2012 - Just as last time a super wine - had one half a year ago.
Now the same typical Sothern Rhone nose with Provance herbs, black berries (cherries) and licorice - soft.
Powerful wine with black fruit and a strong tannins. Balanced acidity.
More soft tannins than last time, but this will be even better ;-)

May 5, 2012 - Still quite young, dark red/purple, dark berries, nose was a bit muted. Full bodied. Very enjoyable.

January 14, 2012 - A lot more balance and subtleties compared to the Domaine des Escaravailles - La Ponce - 2007 which we had alongside. This has an elegant dark fruit character with fine tannins and truffle flavors on the finish. A lovely Southern Rhone. Good now but will hold. - 89 points
