July 10, 2021 - Lovely dry botrytis affected Alsace Riesling. Gold color certinally showing the age as does the truly enjoyable although somewhat simple (at this point) nose and palate. Perfectly balancing acidity to rich body keeps this well out of the 'over the hill' descriptors. Worked well with a blue cheese wedge with prosciutto but the palate is just crying out for Foie Gras. Pears, apples, tangerine, minerality, vinyl and butter.

May 12, 2018 - Brilliant gld color, concentrated stone fruits, presence of sweet fruit on palate, seamless long finish. Drank with season’s first soft shell crab prepared by Chef Moskow with plankton sauce.

October 1, 2017 - Start of a happy evening: Minerality is there (limited), beautiful sweetness and acidity, lots of fruit, power, length. A masterpiece.
