    May 5, 2024 - WSET3 Course Notes; 4/28/2024-6/9/2024 (WineHouse, Los Angeles): A: Pale lemon.
N: Medium+ intensity. Pear, peach. A bunch of butter. Some vanilla and cedar. Youthful.
P: Dry, medium+ acidity. Medium alcohol and medium body. Medium+ intensity. Peach, rendered butter, toast and a little bit of vanilla. Medium finish.
AQ: Very good. Blind guessed 2021 Cote-de-Beaune. They must have picked early and avoided the overripeness of 2022.
8/18 because it needs so much more time. Truly an infanticide :(

February 3, 2024 - Sweet pear nose, heavy stone and star fruit. oak and vanilla finish. Med+ body

February 2, 2024 - Rounded with some fullness across the palate, but with some delicacy across the palate. Young now, lighter than I remember, we shall see.

January 20, 2024 - pale greenish yellow colour. floral and herbal notes adorn a nose of just ripe white peach and pear. smooth, dry and acidic on the entry, orchard fruit fleshes out mid-palate with herbal spice accents. moderate-plus finish that draws out a chalky minerality.

good village-level Chardonnay that has upside potential with a couple of years of ageing.

13.5% AbV; from four different lieu-dits and vines ~50y.o.; ten months' ageing in oak (10% new)
