    March 30, 2024 - Eye: Pale straw. Vibrant rapid small bubbles.

    Nose: Really briochey. Just faintly autolytic. Lemon, green apple, sweet toasted nuts. Pecan praline.

    Palate: Lightly tart; the wine shows it’s dosage. The palate is much the same as the nose. Nice and fizzy on the palate. Moderate cassis character.

    Finish: Sweet brioche. Light lingering tartness and nuttiness.

    Overall: I can’t say I’m overly impressed by the champagne; but it did make some very nice French 75s.

    February 24, 2024 - By the glass from a freshly opened bottle at Maru, London.
    A pretty surprise as much as to see 6-7 g/l dosage written on the back and albeit no other disgorgement data are given we will forgive them on account of how pretty the wine was. Round and polishe, soft rich feel, well balanced. Good 91

    January 26, 2024 - In der Nase etwas Apfel, Limette mit Schale, Vanille-Creme. Dazu etwas heller Rauch und vor allem viel Kalk.

    Am Gaumen recht weinig, etwas stürmische Perlage. Etwas cremig, etwas dunkel-mineralisch, dazu auch hier sehr von Apfel geprägt. Durchaus mit guter Säure, allerdings ist es leicht maskiert durch etwas Zucker und eine etwas vorlaute Bitternote.

    Guter Apero.
