  Eye: Medium purple center with medium ruby rim.
  
  Nose: Iron shavings, light toast. Little bit of chlorine. Distinctly shows “Rutherford dust.”
  
  Palate: Lowish tannin. Medium acidity. Medium+ body. Dark berries. Lightly ripe; it’s a bit sweeter than I tend to prefer, but it’s not overwhelming. Touch of that dust, cacao powder.
  
  Finish: Short. Jammy, black.
  
  Overall: For sub 20 bucks it’s pretty sublime.

  February 4, 2024 - “Duncan Hines cake mix…the vanilla kind…” my wife’s initial impression of the nose. I got ripe, confected (think cotton candy) sweet red and black fruit. The body is plush, with enough structure to make this a ratable wine, dry enough, although a little jammy on the finish. I could serve this at a party……?

  January 31, 2024 - Notes of Blackberry, Cola, Chocolate and vanilla. Was a bit tight when first opened, but after a couple of hours tasted much smoother. Next day opened nicely as well. Good everyday Cab.
