February 17, 2008 - Aromas of blackberry, black currant, eucalyptus, mushroom, and earth. A little endeared by some dankness and funk. Beautiful color. Flavor ends rather abruptly. The tannins and the alcohol keep on the front and upper palate.

January 23, 2008 - This example is less impressive than my previous tasting in 1996. No tasting notes recorded, and consumed over two nights, it remained consistent from night to night. Not as vibrant fruit, shorter finish. This is a mature wine that should be consumed.

December 9, 2006 - I have to say, I opened this wine with little expectations, but was very pleasantly surprised. Although I have no tasting notes, I recall looking at the bottling and wondering if it was a Syrah in stead. This is good and drinking great right now.
