Community Tasting Notes 2

November 5, 2012 - WSET Level 2 Class 4 (BCIT Downtown Campus, Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind. Clear pale-medium gold. Nose is clean, with medium+ aromas of ripe red apples, honey, almonds, petrol... maybe just a hint of oxidation. Palate is dry, with medium+ acid, medium body, flavours of baked apples, clove, beeswax, smoke, petrol. Texture is a little oily, and finish is medium+. Very good quality, but this bottle was definately in the "drink soon" zone.
