March 27, 2024 - Thought I’d give this a try, it has a nice price point. I feel like this is Rombauer’s little sister, substantial Oak and not complex. Although it was rested on the lees I had to wonder if these were reused lees. Thin with only the oak to hold it together, IMO. I am a huge fan of Washington wines, but this left me reaching for a stainless steel finished Chardonnay.
