September 26, 2021 - Dark reddish purple, nose of blackberries and violets, full and rich on the palate but without a distinct varietal note, tannins still evident but soft, fruity finish without terroir.

October 30, 2020 - Classic burgundy hue, no sign of browning at the edge; evolved aroma of forest floor, dried violets and faint truffles. Medium bodied, with rich berry notes and a slightly warm finish. Still has years to go.

July 1, 2016 - Beautiful color and nose. Aged 10 years in my cellar. Came alive 2 hours after opening, and was even better the 2nd day (using a vac pump-down stopper). Paired with wild, fresh salmon.

April 15, 2012 - Drinking beautifully. Wow. Stunning aromatics. Nothing closed here. Bit of bricking, harmonious palate. I'll write again: Wow. You can enjoy this immensely right now.

February 15, 2012 - Drink now!!! Extremely delicious. Bright red ripe fruit, smooth finish and gorgeous nose. I agree with Paul Lin...baby KB ( not the 2009 though). 2004 was a great vintage for Cali Pinot noir. This is a great example of that wonderful vintage.
