Community Tasting Notes 1

April 17, 2024 - At the winery, Collioure: This is the traditional vin doux naturel, a blend of grenache noir and gris with 10% carignan, aged oxidatively for seven years with the residue of previous vintages. This was our favorite of the sweet wines, with flavors of walnut and fig, an excellent value at 23 euros but still, to my taste, lacking in balancing acidity.
