April 17, 2024 - Châteauneuf-du-Pape with my boy!; 4/15/2024-4/17/2024 (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhône, France): 90% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre. Big cherry, punchy, fresh, really juicy, very much on the fruit, but finishes nicely mineral, dusty, pine, garrigue. Really restrained in a good way, polished, pure, so nice, drinkable, measured.
