February 15, 2013 - The nose is muted with understated lemon curd, toast and a little bit of funk.
The palate has the acid structure of a current release, despite 10 years in the bottle, the wine hasn't developed secondary characters with citrus still dominant and texture wise is disjointed.
The 02 may be going through a tough time in it's development.

A younger hunter semillon notes with lots of citrus as a dominant factory with some floral notes. The acidity was more pronouced with a refined texture. This semillon is still very young and has a good future ahead of it. Compared to the 1996 Hunter Semillon, this had more fruit flavours and had not develop the classic secondary toasty notes.
