March 18, 2024 - I had a sip of this wine at an Italian wine tasting recently, and I purchased a bottle to taste at home. The 2022 Valdicava Rosso is a very smooth wine. I popped and I poured, and then I sipped it over three evening's. The wine is medium bodied, and relatively smooth. While I enjoyed this Rosso I feel as if I paid for the Valdicava name. Is any Rosso di Montalcino worth $49 a bottle?
