Community Tasting Notes 3

April 26, 2024 - Light, hazy gold. On the nose this is open and almost clamorous, leaping from the glass with dare I say old school aromas of baked pineapple, tarte tatin, roasted cashews, marigolds, citrus confit, crème fraîche and toasty oak. On the palate this is medium to full bodied, but honestly, a touch lighter than the nose suggests, with bright acidity and a sappy texture driving flavors of pineapple, lemon and toast. This isn't exactly fascinating but it is tasty and pleasing.

    April 19, 2024 - Classic Californian Chardonnay.

Light lemon in color. On the nose it’s mostly riper fruit and oak, and the palette is quite forward with the oak and acidity. Really like the acidity to balance out the richness of the oak. Decently long finish.

March 9, 2024 - Light golden yellow in color. Full, forward & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, lemons/limes & pineapples with overtones of floral notes of honeysuckle & minerals, wet stones, hazelnuts & a hint of vanilla/toasty oak in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, lush, ripe fruit flavors of apples, lemons/limes & pineapple with minerals, spices, toasty oak & a hint of vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but should develop further with additional aging & may merit a higher score (93+) at that time.
