November 10, 2019 - Second Sunday Group: 1999 Napa cabernets (Our house): Blind. Opens with a baked red currant note but there's also a bit of oxidation here. Plummy red fruit on the palate. A hint of bouillon as it gets more air. Not completely devoid of fruit or charm, but this bottle clearly did not hold up as well as others.

November 15, 2013 - Deep purple color with a bouquet and flavor of black currents with a bit of
eucalyptus. Good balance but lacking the nuance and depth to be a first-rate wine. Even so, very pleasant and easy to drink, with a medium finish. Drink up now.
