June 24, 2011 - A very, surprisingly good wine. Quite dark nebbe, high viscosity some signs of a mature wine. Very nice smell, complex with rose, hint of tar. Rich taste, hint of sweetness in the beginning and in the midpart, long somewhat dry tannic aftertaste. Very nicely structured.

November 28, 2009 - 18 wines on a Saturday afternoon: Light ruby in color. The nose is dusty with cherries and roses. Complex on the palate but a bit faded. Cherries with mild tannins. Surprisingly, I thought this put on weight and body and color as the afternoon progressed. Never a block buster, but a nice mature nebbiolo.
