February 3, 2016 - Couldn't agree more with the previous note. Much less big bold fruit than some other zins, just perfectly integrated fruit, earth and spice. Could maybe even improve over another few years?

February 6, 2013 - W osso bucco @ dinner with John and Lou in JH. First guests. This was perfect match with the meal. This is a very elegant wine and was a very good match with dinner. We decanted 2 hrs. Gorgeous zin color, on the nose pure zin but not that juicy stuff that you often get. On palate great zin body thatclearly has matured and is showing all. Great dark berry/spiced finish. We got this wine as part of Zin club shipment.

June 1, 2012 - Jammy zin with a little heat when first opened. This mellowed after 30 mins or so. Overall nice medium body wine, nice tannin structure (nothing over the top.)
