Community Tasting Notes 12

March 11, 2021 - This wine is singing right now. Excellent fruit, with prominent savory notes and ample smooth tannins. What a great example of Washington Syrah and its ability to hold up with age. This wine I estimate will hold up for at least another 5 years.

March 20, 2016 - It has rounded out nicely over the years. Still has some lively acidity and the tannins have mellowed over the years. Drink this now as I will.

March 11, 2013 - Open two hours, big nose of Raspberry preserves, campfire, mint. Medium dense palate with bright finish of steel, red fruits. Nice bottle, probably in the middle of it's aging curve, great to drink now. 50+5+8+11+15

January 27, 2012 - Still needs more time in bottle or a healthy decant

December 17, 2011 - this is what i like in a shiraz. spicy with plenty of fruit layered together well with fine tannins. i'm sorry this was a one-off as i could handle more
