September 4, 2011 - Decanted for 2 hours. I, for some reason, thought this would be much more fruit forward. I was wrong, all around well structured and balance. Oak showing as previously noted but not out of control. I should score higher as I write this but when I consumed it last night I noted 88.

July 20, 2011 - Dark fruits, black pepper, with some mocha/coffee nuances. Med+ body with good acidity and soft, chewy tannins. Seemed to show a bit too much oak influence and a touch disjointed tonight. While certainly a good wine, this didn't rock me.

March 9, 2011 - Paired with Portugese food. Stood up to the salty food. Allowed for it's black fruit and black peeper spiciness to shine through.
