Community Tasting Notes 2

November 8, 2017 - Poured blind. Showing some stable/barnyard aroma in the aromatic. Drinks pretty youthful, meaning the fruit here is not faded, and my notes say a 'molten' quality with sweet berry and tar. Very unique wine, and while I thought the balance in the wine was missing, I still would have a hard time pegging as 40 years old, for sure.

November 8, 2017 - Definitely showing it's age based on the nose of old world must, moss, and dust. A little horse might be mixed in there. The fruit was classic cassis although fading with dried flowers. Fun to share with friends.
