April 2, 2024 - Barrel sample at the winery. We tried 3 different barrels of the wines which will go into the final blend (2 Semillon and 1 Sauvignon Blanc). The final blend will be SB heavy as usual. We also tried a combined glass of all the barrels which will be the basis for this note. Very stony with grass and spice notes. There is some grip on the back of the palate. This blend was rounder and fuller than the individual barrel samples. 2023 should be a very good vintage. 89-92 points.
