February 26, 2017 - Incredibly fresh with flavors of beef bouillon, mint and red spice. Very mature and fully resolved but not oxidized at all.

February 23, 2017 - Mint and eucalyptus nose not unlike the '45 Mouton. Wild strawberry and raspberry notes on both the nose and palate. Remarkably expressive given the age.

February 23, 2017 - An epic vertical of Chateau Montrose (Restaurant Daniel): A very nice nose. Vibrant acidity left with a solid core of red fruit. A bit shorter on the finish. Wine opened up more as time progressed. Montrose vertical 1895-2000
