January 8, 2022 - Popped and poured with venison and duck cassoulet. Blew everyone away. Dark purple color. Dark cherry, licorice, and some earth on the palate. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. Lesson: these LC wines can cellar for a long time.

January 14, 2017 - at first a bit of funk, but when that blew off, the nose became quite lovely. Really nice red fruit and light/med acidity. really impressed with this producer

May 23, 2016 - Fantastic wine, not at all past the drinking window. The fruit was superb and very distinct - blueberry, strawberry. Balanced tannins and a 30+ second finish!

January 7, 2016 - Maturing beautifully. Nose is intense floral and fruit with secondary earthy aromas. On the palate shows great integration, texture and a long finish.
