June 28, 2009 - Deep crimson ruby in color. Aromas of dark berry, tar and wool, with a hint of black liquorice. The nose is the star here with this one as is does not impress on the palate. Fresh mouth feel with the fresh fruit coming through, but a bit thin and hollow overall followed by a short, lackluster finish.

August 30, 2007 - UWS; A mixed set of wines from Italy and France (@ JB): In the bouquet fresh cherries like in Beaujolais. On the palate juicy cherries, red berries, green herbs, licorice and fresh acidity. Sort finish. Clean wine which lacks some complexity.
