December 30, 2023 - Solid depth and complexity. Bitterness is starting to overwhelm a bit on the palate...was hoping for a bit more integration at this age.

August 31, 2023 - Taking on a bit of a golden hue. Reticent on the nose initially, but then hints of lanolin and waxed lemon. Give it a while to open up and well integrated layers of lemon zest, grapefruit and apricot start to come to the fore. Structured and balanced. Fine and long finish. Still a delight.

June 30, 2023 - Pale lemon in colour. Nose is quite expressive showing powdery lemon curd, honey suckle, a trace of vanilla and a whiff of smoke. There's richness, lovely acidity, a touch of spiciness, good persistence, it's not particularly fruity, it's rounded and saline and there's a suggestion of butterscotch on the finish. Very decent. Preferred this to the 2011 drunk alongside.

    December 25, 2022 - Not premoxed thankfully, a light gold/straw colour.
Quite ripe in some ways, a tinge of marmalade and exotic fruits, some yeast in the mid palate.
An acquired taste it seems, i enjoyed but most of the table weren’t so enthusiastic. I can see why so many persist despite the occasional issues as it is definitely moreish.

July 30, 2022 - Deep gold, took it quite some time to open, acidiy, with a chalky, mineral, yeasty flavor, touch of exptic fruits, very in check, coming later mid palate. Love the wine. Very serious. Glad i had it now as they are all on a downward slope it seems when reading reviews on CellarTracker
