December 29, 2023 - On its own faded a fair bit but good, with steak it came flaring to life, shockingly so! Straight up with diamond creek 78, was no comp lesser, with the steak the clear winner.

November 3, 2023 - Mouton Rothschild Vertical: My fourth bottle with varying points and notes. This time round, the bottle is singing. Despite poor vintage of 1967, the wine is performing at its best. Will not improve better. Clear ruby colour with notes of mushroom, red fruits, toast, earth. Medium acidity and medium- tannin. Did not decant. Pop and pour.

June 5, 2023 - Dégustation de 30 millésimes de Mouton Rothschild

    1967

Sous-bois, nez timide, la bouche est très belle sur les fruits rouges délicats. Le vin possède encore une acidité intéressante et un tannin fin légèrement asséchant. Superbe vin en finesse qui ne fait définitivement pas son age !

February 25, 2023 - Medium nose intensity with notes of tea, spices, toast. Still drinkable. Medium acidity and medium tannin.

September 28, 2022 - I think this would have been wonderful in its heyday, but I suspect this one just didn’t make it through the aging process. Brown and cloudy, with a nose with a little cedar/cigar box, but underlying notes of prune and elements of vinegar. Palate was sour, vinegary with a little burnt toast. RIP
