    March 1, 2009 - better than expected for this lower level Penfolds bottling. The wine had some real weight and presence with some acidity in the finish to balance out the dark Shiraz fruit. No particular complexity or length, but a nice glass on a winter evening, and seems ready to drink now.

    August 2, 2008 - Certainly a different style of Aussie Shiraz than I'm used to drinking. Much more French in style, but good in it's own way. We picked this up for $45 a case and at that price it is a screaming deal.
