Community Tasting Notes 7

June 26, 2013 - See previous note. Still drinking lovely and a bit fat, but quite mature. Drink up.

June 10, 2012 - See previous notes. Hardly any oak in the bouquet anymore. Instead, popped and poured and a little too cold there are apples. Later and a bit warmer soft yellow tropical fruits. On the palate the same apple and yellow fruits and the oak shows a bit in the bitterness in the finish. The wine shows quite mature, maybe even a bit past its prime already, but still drinking lovely. I did not expect this wine to be so mature already, so maybe it is the bottle/cork. Have one more bottle scheduled for 2013 (or later), so then I'll see.

May 18, 2009 - The oak is much more integrated than last year. The citrus acidity and all other flavors make this wine very pleasing and elegant. One friend, who is a red wine lover, decided to drink very little of the red wines this evening and almost emptied this bottle by himself.

April 14, 2009 - Powerful vintage coupled to a solid acidic strucutre in the wines. Big aromatics people say. Big, powerful, robust. Lively and really qerally great wine. uite good wine.

May 16, 2008 - A lot of oak in the bouquet as well as the taste. And it is in very good harmony and balance with the fresh acidity.
