February 10, 2024 - Sadly, some tca robbed us of what should have been and would have been a great wine. Plenty of density and texture here but fat too dank to derive any pleasure.

October 26, 2017 - This was an outstanding GE, youthful but powerful and rich. so strong i could not taste the 93 Rousseau beze when comparing them. Very powerful

October 16, 2017 - Over the hill, with some appealing Burgundian spice notes, but mostly stewed fruit.

April 28, 2017 - Excellent. Opened with an amazing floral nose of red fruit and a hint of vanilla, gorgeous silky taste of red fruit and earth. Opened further over two hours to show floral notes, and then more and more red fruit as it breathed. The palate is ultra refined, with an amazing explosion of acid and flavor after 30+ seconds. Balanced, deep & Long. Sweetness & red ruit emerging over time. Stunning.

February 2, 2013 - Totally shot. Stewy and undrinkable.
