April 14, 2016 - Tasted blind. Pop and poured. Drank over 1.5 hours over lunch at Mei-I Sushi.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, gold yellow colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of wet stone minerality, honey, lemon drops. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of wet stone minerality, butter cream, honey, citrus lemon drops. Long finish.
Very good quality. My guess was spot on 10-12 year old Meursault Premier Cru. Good vintage. Nicely aged, though not the most complex example. Drink up now before the fruit goes down. -

January 21, 2016 - Have drank two recently, one was going slightly oxidised. Second was still clean & fresh, developed, but not quite over the hill. Rich, mostly secondary character, some lively citrus notes still there. Drinking well, but drink up.

August 23, 2013 - Doesn't have that rich butter of some Meursault but fresh and fruity - very nice

September 9, 2012 - The deep yellow colour promises rich caramel flavours. On the palate: underripe green fruits, pineapple juice, green apple and mineral water. The finish is a battle between rich, soft caramel and strong acid. This bottle has an unpleasant oxidised character, like apple slices that have turned brown, plus a rusty, bitter, metallic note. This oxidised character - hopefully the fault of a bad cork - turns a potentially great wine into one that's drinkable, but not exceptional.

October 29, 2011 - Rich creamy and with waffle and hazelnut lemony goodness. Not bad.

4/1/2008 (link)(Mischief & Mayhem Meursault Poruzots) Medium yellow. The nose shows nice floral tones over the faint brioche. The palate shows well-textured concentration with the acidity just bubbling away under the surface before breaking through into the mid-palate. An interesting extra edge of flavour before (very) slowly fading into the finish. A fine example.
