November 4, 2023 - This showed such promise in its youth, but it never lived up to its early potential. Being an optimist by nature, I hope that this may present differently, but to be honest this is really not to my taste. I still have half a case remaining. Please note that normally my basement floor for wine ratings has always been 87.

July 4, 2022 - I thought this had so much potential 6 years ago and actually gave it a tentative 94. I should have drunk the whole case in 2016 because its been downhill all the way since. It has ended up a decent glugger, if a little overpriced for this job function. It seems to be stuck in a primary phase, but now with little fruit and exposed tannin. If you had this in a carafe at a bodegas or taverna you would be delighted, but you would be paying a hundredth of the price.

March 4, 2021 - This is in its drinking window, and although it has never lived up to its early promise, this was much improved from a year ago. Everything is firing on full cylinders, and it is highly enjoyable, but the palate is one dimensional and the finish on the shorter side.

June 24, 2020 - As per previous notes, this is drinking well, but has never really lived up to its early promise.

February 18, 2020 - Had this the other evening with calves liver and good company. It’s coming into its own. I would say most likely has 3-5 years left. As we all know wine can be finicky. Lady Labrie had a cross to bear but no longer. She’s on her knees, hands folded in prayer. And boy is she delicious.
