February 12, 2022 - Figeac vertical: Rather alcoholic and plummy on first pour so I went 2009 for this, but someone got it right when he said this lost steam with air so it must have been a weaker vintage.

March 31, 2021 - Requires a tough of decanting but post that it sings and its a great wine to drink from now and easily has a lot more life ahead of it.
Soft herbs, still very much fruit driven but the fact that 2007 was not a ripe vintage makes this very fine and balanced. we almost love Figeacs from off vintages more ( like Tertre Rotebeuf) like the ripe ones for this softness they exhibit. A very solid and delicious 92-932 people found this helpful Comment -

November 25, 2020 - It has been a year since we tried it last ( Papies 92) and this continues on the happy road.
Decanted for a good hour and frankly suggested to get the full out of the wine albeit on the nose it is open for the pop of the cork.
Classic notes of ripe dark fruits, leather, spice and with a sweeter touch across albeit in balance and a very elegant full of finesse wine. In our view 2007s across France are really showing a solid side now and this was no exception. And Figeac in lesser vintages ( much like Tertre Roteboeuf) show a very much welcoming side in their youth as the absence of a rich fruit allows the wine to shine younger. Superb 92-93 and will drink well for easily another 10 yrs -

November 7, 2020 - 0.375 L bottle, early Nov 2020: purple red color; the nose commenced with a scent of strawberries and raspberries soon overtaken by intense black cherry and mocca aromas; juicy and fruity on the palate; with a slight adstringency in the finish. 92-93/100
At the moment the 2007 Figeac seems to be in top shape. Do not hesiate to open a bottle.
