Community Tasting Notes 4

February 23, 2018 - Mostly merlot and a bit of cabernet franc from saint emilion Dark red in color. Color does not show 11 years of age. Opens up nicely with plums and blackcurrants. Hints of smoke. Black fruits. Palate is round. Rich. Fleshy. Same plums but also black cherries. Long. With a dark chocolate aftertaste. Very good wine.

February 22, 2016 - Blind tasted. I got a lot of black pepper and black fruit and was guessing New World Shiraz or Cabernet. Upon revisit it made more sense, drinking really nicely.

September 7, 2015 - Really solid, classic Bordeaux nose and silky smooth on the palate. Much better after 45 minutes, and even better on day 2.

October 1, 2008 - Vibrant, highly perfumed nose laden with purple flowers and licorice. There is good depth and concentration of fruit flavours with mouthwatering acidity.
