May 1, 2021 - medium red with bricking rim, cherries, pine needles and underbrush on the nose, on the palate glowing wild cherries- aged and elegant with a marvelous persistence, moss, soft bramble, forest floor, a really beautiful wine, relaxing, succulent, sublime, at the end of a tasting populated by titans and big personalities- this shone brightly for being simply beautiful and just right in every little way.

September 13, 2020 - Brick on edges. Not much of a nose. Very hard to coax a nose out of it. On palate more balance than I expected. Some freshness that wasn’t expected and nice old leather notes. I probably should have opened 5 yrs ago

February 8, 2020 - After several disappointments finally hit a good one with the last bottle. PnP and right away greeted with mature fruit and herbs on wide open aromatics. Smooth and silky with good grip focus and a lingering finish. Very enjoyable bottle of mature CNDP that was just super tasty.
