April 8, 2016 - Great wine and good value which has everything but lack of complexity. Full body wine with nice aroma and long plummy finishing.

August 30, 2014 - PnP and drank over 3 hours. 70% merlot, 30% cab franc and 13.5% alc. A classically styled, luncheon claret. Good acidity like many '07s but a bit thin and the oak still a bit prominent. Medium minus finish. Ready to drink now but will probably be best in 2-3yrs.

October 1, 2012 - Tasted this vintage while touring the Soutard winery in Bordeaux. This is still a relatively young 2007 wine with colors of purple infusing into red at the edges. The wine has good movement around the glass and is quite viscous. On the nose there are hints a sweet plums and blueberries, along with the distinctive terroir of Bordeaux. I would say that, for the price, this is a realatively uninspiring wine that left me wanting more. The palate was singular in its character with with hits of tannin's which was more than I preferred. The finish was short, not sweet. I know 2007 was a difficult year for all of Bordeaux, I still expect more from this vintage. Buy if you can get a steal, prepare to hold for a while.
