July 20, 2014 - A good showing. Opaque ruby, bricking crimson on the rim. Musty, black fruit bouquet of cherries, old leather, fancy oak, mint, and Italian herbs. The palate is smooth, integrated, and very well put together, offering black raspberries, earth, melted tannins, and a touch of spice on the finish. It's not going to improve so no reason to hold.
