Community Tasting Notes 1

January 25, 2011 - medium ruby color. the nose is really warm and inviting with lots of soft, dark fruits. tannins, fruit and acid are very well balanced at this stage. not at all jammy. zesty rather. really fresh, soft red plum accented with mocha and some licorice. the fruit glides into the finish, which is quite long. i was really impressed with this and it went so well with lasagna.
