Community Tasting Notes 3

June 14, 2009 - Nose: Strawberry and chalk minerality. Palate: Quite dry in style with some of the strawberry showing, good acid levels and a fairly lengthy finish for a Rose. If there were such a thing as a domestic Tavel this would be it. Hendry wines are always so well made.

March 1, 2009 - Bright reddish-pink in color, with essence of strawberry, raspberry, and chalky minerals. A saignée of Hendry's Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Zinfandel and Primitivo, this is dry yet refreshing, with a very respectable finish.

August 9, 2008 - Craig and Nita's Wine Barbecue: Light, easy drinking rosé wine. The rosé is a saignée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Zinfandel and Primitivo, with notes of slate and strawberry.
