April 2, 2009 - Citrusy and pleasant but completely undistinguished.

November 8, 2008 - Gold color, honey nose, Taste: good acidity, nice feel, smooth, bit spritzy, honey, lemon taste, soft, bit of spice. Drank over 2 days, held up well. B+

August 27, 2008 - This is a young, crisp, leaner styled Viognier. Nice citrus fruits mingle with stony, mineral laced stone fruit flavors to complete this acid driven fresh tasting wine. I would pair this with leaner white fish and light shellfish dishes, even lighter poultry dishes.

    Color – Bright yellow

Nose – Stony minerals, lemons and limes

Palate/Finish – The entry is light and laser like with lemons and limes. By mid-palate this Viognier gains some weight from the peachy stone fruit and sweeter lemon flavors that peak through. The finish is clean and crisp, typical “rocks and fruit” from this Provencal wine.

This wine paired well with sushi one night and cheese the next night!

July 10, 2008 - Nice acidity and mouthfeel. Would have scored higher but it kind of fell apart on the finish.

(Le Pardou Viognier) #1; COLOR-pale yellow; NOSE-really beautiful white flowers; white pepper; ocean saltiness meets minerality; papaya; TASTE-nice acidity; great grip on the back palate; I like the lime flavor; very mineral driven; very stoney & steely; crisp & clean; nice weight; solid complexity; textbook Viognier; not blowing me away, but very solid; GV-87
